Jaclyn Hill x Morphe

I had to see what all the fuss was about when it came to the new Jacklyn Hill x Morphe collection, but I didnt want to spend an arm and leg doing so. I decided to opt in for just one of the palettes to see if I was even going to like it, I decided to buy Bling Boss. I heard all this controversy surrounding her last release with Morphe so I was pretty skeptical about this one. I thought the price seemed pretty fair for what you get ($15). I also swatched all the colors when I was at Ulta to see which palette I liked best. I wasn’t going to buy this palette just based on the fact that the purple was so bright and I figured I would never use it. The first time I used this I thought it was ok, there wasn’t really anything special about it. One thing I noticed was that the sparkly shades were pretty hard to get on my brush and when I put it on my eye it all fell off. The best option I’ve found to solve this is just by using my finger instead. I thought the sparkly shades were really patchy too. The matte shades however were pretty flattering and blended fairly well (I used the blending eye brush by ELF). I’ve been able to create some pretty eyes looks, but if I could go back, I probably wouldn’t have bought this palette. I was super excited to use the colors Glitz & Glam and Bally, but they were quite disappointing. I really wish that this palette would’ve worked better for me. Let me know if you have any advise on using this palette and what’s worked best for you.
